同时，中国高端聚烯烃产品供应严重不足，当前自给率仅为20%。国产聚烯烃产品以中低端通用料为主，市场竞争激烈。中国聚烯烃产业高端化发展迫在眉睫。《石油和化学工业“十三五”发展指南》对聚烯烃高端化提出要求，到2020年，中国对于高端聚烯烃的需求量将达到1115万吨，产量774万吨，自给率接近70%。市场增长空间巨大。

未来包装、汽车、建筑、电子消费品发展，将为高端聚烯烃产业提供巨大的市场发展空间，也将带动高端聚烯烃技术、工艺、催化剂以及产品应用的升级。

In recent years, with the rise of feedstock diversification routes including coal based and propane dehydrogenation (PDH), etc., China’s polyolefin industry developed rapidly. According to AISACHEM’s data, in 2016, the total production and apparent consumption of polyolefin in China was about 33Mt and 45Mt, respectively, with the self-sufficiency rate of 73 %.

However, the high-end polyolefin products in China are in desperately short supply, with current self-sufficiency rate of about 20%. The domesticpolyolefin productsare mainly dominated by middle and low general commodities, with fiercely competitive market. High-end development of China’s polyolefin industry is imminent. proposed requirements on high-end polyolefin that, by 2020, high-end polyolefin demand in China would be 11.15Mt, with production and self-sufficiency rate of 7.74Mt and 70%, respectively, showing huge market growth space.

In the future, the development of packing, automobile, construction, and consumer electronics, will not only provide huge market developing space, but also promote the upgrading of high-end polyolefin technologies, processes, catalysts, as well as product applications.
